I've seen those fish here and can't stand them either.  The one I saw was
singing Talking Heads "Take me to the River".   

I thought it was hilarious.  I've seen enough British movies where language
like that 
was used and understand there's something of a cultural barrier
when it comes to certain words.  But certainly, this joke should be viewed
within that context and not misconstrued.

My friend Alan Joyner wrote a song called "Kicking my Bitches" which is a
complete satire written from the perspective of a pimp.  Its an incredibly
funny song and in my opinion, makes fun of pimps and makes them seem
ridiculous.  However, several times when I've heard this song performed,
some people have been offended because they misunderstand and assume its
supporting violence towards women when that's not the intention at all.

What a wacky world we live in.
