<You probably like jazz then?> yes - my fave is miles, but also coltraine and monk and some more contemporary stuff - also love billie. > The only one on your list that I haven't heard yet is NRH> NRH is the work of a mature artist, it is "smooth" sounding and seems to contain all the elements of her previous work blended into a new sound - standouts are NRH, PP, and STB. the only clunker is Windfall, which seems lyrically vindictive. NRH is the precursor to TI, not as musically complex. i have always liked NRH, but it has grown on me over the years and i recently spent a month listening to nothing else. <WTRF put me off> yes WTRF pretty much leaves me cold. CC, MATW, Love are exceptions. > What's your opinion on DED?> DED has some great songs as evidenced by the acoustic, live performances i have heard. but the production on the studio release creates for me an emotional distance and i generally don't care for the sound.
