Absolutely correct, Colin. And like Kate, seeing Clinton reminded me of why I voted for him twice. His intellect and integrity are head and shoulders above the Shrub's. So he had an affair and lied about it...I would rather have that in the white house than someone who lies to get us into a war.
I liked Clinton's seriousness too. He did not do any finger pointing or name calling...instead...he offered solutions to problems the current administrations fails to acknowledge...such as peace in the middle east, alternative energy...and contributing to society as a former head of state...like Jimmy Carter does. I hope this missive does not bring entreaties towards me...but...heck I am a beekeeper and gardener...and we know how to withstand stings and maintain patience in order to sustain the wonderful things mother nature gives to us. So, my friends...Kate and Colin...I appreciate your opinions...and Debra...I just read your missive...your wise words...we have to try to make a difference and not be afraid to speak up. Martin, Robert and John were not afraid...and neither is Joni. LOL While I in no way compare myself to them...they set a standard for all of us to strive towards. Anyway...enough ramblings from this old hippie girl. I must get dinner on the table...I made cookies for dessert (which is a good thing to begin meals with). :) Love and Peace....Sharon colin wrote: > > > That's so > > different than the simplistic "good guys vs. bad guys" thinking of our > > current leaders, thinking that's jeopardizing our existence. > > to some people being right and getting even is far more important than life. > The most dangerous country in the world already has huge amounts of weapons of > mass destruction-and has already used them more than once. > The rest of us have sat back and let them and we are all going to pay the price > for that. perhaps sooner than we think or hope.
