Vince, I'm happy for you that your ceremony was such a success. I loved your tale of the Edmund Fitz. Gordon Lightfoot was all I listened to at one time and his music indirectly brought me to knowing about Joni before she released the first album. When I was a young teenager, I used to go to the local library almost every night just to play Gordon's albums and sometimes check them out. I was blown away when I learned that he was a part of Joni's tribute in Toronto.
As for the errant post last night I really didn't know what to make of it. When Mack said it was meant to be directed towards a Texas politician I figured there was some Bush-whacking going on offlist ;-) Yesterday was a long day and then a long night with a friend. Got to sleep way too late and had the weirdest dream about a male listmember posting about how another female listmember had dissed him horribly in a post. Wish I could but can't bring myself to mention the names but to protect the innocent I cant. In reality they are pretty good friends, I believe. It was funny but in a very Lynchian way!
