maybe I ought to, but i just don't think of that when i think of sexual
preference. I guess mainly because when people refer to it, they are
thinking of your second sentence.....

I also tend to not like the term sexual preference to refer to being
gay/bit/str8 or whateve anyway. It best suits the above. Being gay bi str8
etc is much more than sex.
