Hi James, I doubt if Joni was the inspiration, but when I saw the previews for this one I thought that there was probably lots of Joni played on the set as both are such huge fans. (Goldie has even turned in a nice cover of "Carey") But this movie is being hyped a lot, which could mean "suck potential".
