I recall vividly th alst major bomb in London at Canary wharf-not far from
our flat. it sent to the fllor. It was such a loud bang. It was hte closest
I had ever been to a bomb yet I knew immediately what it was. What else
would make that noise?
My biggest fear was always for John. he works in central Londodn and his
building had already been a target.
