"We could talk about landscapes" Is there a significant Martha in the art world that this might have related to? I don't know, I'm just throwing it out in case it rings a familiar note with anyone. I would be more inclined to believe that she was referencing Martha Graham, the dancer & choreographer since she juxtaposed it with a painting lyric next.
