I bet the first headline we'll see after the new Senate is sworn in will be "Rehnquist retires." With a Republican Senate, Bush will be able to appoint right-wingers to all the courts. The effect of THAT tragedy will last for decades. It will last the rest of my life. We can kiss Roe v Wade goodbye. Maybe we can even kiss Miranda goodbye. Maybe even Brown v Board.
