Being the granddaughter of Italian immigrants there were a few side dishes my
grandmother would serve in addition to the traditional Thanksgiving meal.
Spinach pie, Broccoli Raab sauteed in virgin olive oil and coarsely chopped
garlic with a splash of lemon juice. Oh and let's not forget the (Carciofi)
Artichokes stuffed with a mixture of fresh breadcrumbs, coarsely chopped
garlic, virgin olive oil, parmesan cheese and a pinch of fresh parsley. I'm
getting hungry and it's not even noon time yet.
