Brenda, if you're reading this I would love to know how the rest of
McAlmont's CD sounds. His version of "Converstation" makes me want to DANCE
DANCE DANCE.

<Now that there are 11 Volumes and #12 is almost finished, are you planning
a "Covers Greatest Hits"? :~)>

<I've been asked that before...it seems that there are some folks who don't
want to make the full commitment, but rather just want the ol' sampler
platter...<snip> .then there's always the chore of selecting the "Greatest
Hits"! How do you pick? >
I see your point Bob! Jim Nabors, Frank Sinatra, Leonard Nimoy, etc.... are
some obvious choices that you wouldn't put on a " Joni Covers Greatest Hits",
but it's pretty subjective with a lot of the artists on *all* those CD's that
you have so generously put together. EXAMPLE: I would definitely put
Nazareth's "This Flight Tonight" on HITS, but (at the risk of being flamed) I
would rather stick an ice pick in my ear or have a thousand earwigs lay eggs
in my brain than to listen to any of the covers by Dave Van Ronk!!!
Your still the greatest Bob, and I'm proud to say I have ALL of the "covers"
thanks to you!
