whilst i don't recall seeing anything ugly from you, pat, and do recall the 'idiot'
posts,
I think that to ignore the blatent nastiness and snobbishness and arrogance of the pro
republicans(only 2 I can think of and I think they are related!) is not fair. Mr Deste
and
Mr galt have done nothing to change my opinion of conservatives. Both have been
downright
rude and quite aparrently do not give a shit for anyone elses viewpoint. They have
dismissed another's view as being either stupid or dishonest . There is no one more
dangerous than a person who is so damn sure they know what is best for evevryone else.
They only are interested in power, not you or me, and these posts show that very
clearly.
I know you quite well, and don't care who you voted for, I know you are a decent person
who would not have such flagrant disregard for others. It therefore surprises me that
in
explaining why you voted for Bush and having a go at whoever it was that called Bush a
'fucking idiot', the far more serious abuses went unnoticed or uncommented on. To call
someone a 'fucking idiot' in a moment of passion or childishness is a mere flash in the
pan. to systemically show that you care nothing for others is whole other matter.
For what it is worth, i support niether and hold no politcal or relgious affilitaion
tho I
hold strong views on politics and spirituality. I don't think the two can seperated
and I
believe that the 'personal' is 'political'. We make our politcs well known in our daily
actions and the same goes for our spiritual standpoint.
