Like Colin, when I said Law-ree, I meant something that rhymes with glory
(so I did have it right, I just couldn't work out how to describe it)!  But
our word for truck, ie. lorry, rhymes with sorry, and so does Laurie.  I
have a friend named Laurie, and that's how his name is pronounced.
