LOL.
actually, there were more than two. AND she way overplayed No Doubt, Bob
Marley, and UB40 too, i'll add.
of course, i'm probably a bit of a hypocrite here because some memebers of
my family accuse me of overplaying Joni from time to time, as if that's
possible!!
drumroll please......
and the most overplayed Stevie Wonder songs in my house for as long as i can
remember.....
for onece in my life. which i used to like i'll admit (reluctantly, lol)
Yesterme,Yesteryou, Yesteday (is that the title??)
Sir Duke
and most predictably i think...i jsut calledto say i love you.
now as far as i know, these are mostly earlier Wonder, and i think soem of
them weren't written by him.
i have been told a lot of his later works aren't quite so happy or what have
you, and are a very different cup of tea. it's ironic that i'm not a fan
though, because i am, in general, a motown fan (yes yes yes, i have changed
my opinion about Diana-less supremes in recent months) for i was brought up
on motown music(ok, please tell me that Stevie WOnder *is/was* motown after
me saying that, because i dont know why i think he is)
anyway, i hope that clears it up a little for you Michael:-)
GARRET
ps- BTW, i think your planned trip sounds ever so exciting. i'm sure you'll
have teh time of your life.
you bringing Hejira with you??
