Richard Bach's book "Jonathan Livingston Seagull" was first
published in 1970. There was also an album narrated by Richard
Harris. I thought it was strange when Diamond's work came out
because the whole phenomenon had come and gone.

There must be lots. I can think of two by David Crosby; "Guinnevere"
and "The Lee Shore" and another by Mark-Almond (title? "Home?")
