That's weird - I received Ashara's original post sent to the list at 8:15
this a.m. That Mercury retrograde also must have caused me to mistakenly
refer to an article about the "Simon" family instead of the "Taylor" family
in my reply to Ashara. Or maybe it was just too early in the morning for my
brain ;-) I'll hunt through my old VF's to see if I can find the article -
it was well-written. After reading Taylor's apparently disparate
recollections on his hospitalization over the years, I tend to think that he
has either been misquoted, taken out of context or may be doing his own
"spin" depending on the audience he is addressing, e.g., a downplayed spin
on the drug aspect to the trendy hip readers of MOJO or VF, but more
candidness to the mainstream, middle-America audience of 60 Minutes II.
Just MHO.
