Despite all the hype and product placement (when does the U2 tour start) I
thought it was great entertainment with a lot of variety and a funny
presenter. I watched the show with my nine your old and we had a lot of
fun and arguments about the acts. Joni looked great. But the Coltrane
joke went over like a lead balloon. That stuff about old music being better
than new music is so tiresome. Destiny's Child are as good as anything
John Coltrane ever did and A Love Supreme is a very over rated record.
