Hey, I love Dylan. yea the WWF crowds may be some of his fans
nowadys, butI think those fans should get into Joni too.
I thought the pairing was great because it forced Joni at several
points during the concerts to defend herself proudly, which I strongly
respected her for. For example, one of the post shows that someone had
written stated that after being insulted by a fan, Joni declared, "Fuck you,
I am just as good as Bob!" And at the show that I attended at Maryland
College, a fan who shouted out, "bring out dylan" was actually hauled off
the floor by the guards if i recall best.
*** And not that This was the only good reason to pair the two together..
The shows were WOnderful! Joni was in such fine form and having Brian Blade
on drums and Mark Isham on Trumpet was Spanktastic.
Bob, I could deal with A Greasy cheesburger right now!! and some red
wine.. damn I am hungry.
