Hi Emily,

Only *one?* :-) They're all so grand!

Here's a repeat post of mine from 1997:

I'd like to include "Circle Game," "Judgement of the Moon and Stars,"
"Refuge of the Roads," "Goodbye Pork Pie Hat," "Love," and "Sire of Sorrow"
as outstanding final tracks on their respective albums. These songs are to
me the climax of the albums, the songs where Joni sums up the album's theme
and offers hope for the future. I call them her "big picture" songs as they
offer a glimpse at how she predicts things could turn out in an ideal
world. They sometimes evoke images of heavenly bodies and beings, or paint
a picture of special places she has been. Never one to be labeled
predictable, though; Joni Mitchell will throw in a surprise like "Twisted"
as the final track once in a while just to keep things creative.
