Freddy Cannon had a version, Kakki? There is my fact for the day!

Some group whose name I forget had a big hit with it in May-June 1965, too,
which I remember from when I graduated the 8th grade. And that as well
precedes Creeque Alley. "California Dreamin" was not that long after that,
however, for a point of reference, and "Monday, Monday" hit it big as as
single in the spring of 1966.

Now if this were useful information that I could earn a living at, Iwouldn't
remember a damned thing.
