yeah, i totally agree, but i think i enjoy that
longing, you know, that feeling of absolute longing to
go back to "those days"...even though that time period
isnt what i get nostalgic over necessarily. i just
think its a great movie that can pull my heart strings
like that. 
i guess what i am saying, mr. rowe, is that maybe its
not necessarily the music itself or the state of music
that depressed you, it was being reminded of a time
when you were young and had no reponsibility and could
just pick up and follow a band around on tour.
