Thanks for the additional info. Joni once again is being literal and
symbolic, double-meaning, "dualistic" in this lyric. Now that you mention
it I do seem to recall seeing a "Yankee Yachts" sign somewhere long ago -
maybe in Newport Beach. I must say that even though "Banquet" has always
been one of my favorites, I've gained a fuller understanding of the song now
and like it even more! Thanks to Wally for prodding the thought process
along! ;-)
