Thanks for the Covers #18, Bob and the rest of the contributors. It is
another winner, and I've really enjoyed listening to it these past few days.
Just a couple of comments on a few songs
> 1. Brother Love Canal - Both Sides Now: Who says you can't dance to Joni?
> Pump up the jam!!
Rev. Vince, this *is* the Joni song you were looking for your aerobic class.
My sister who is an instructor wants me to tape it for her "step" class. I
love this funky version of BSN. It almost reminds me of the "Rocky Horror
Picture Show" with Janet Weiss and Riff Raff on vocals.

> of this set for sure! A very fresh setting for the Swingles harmonies, and

> roooooollin'!

The Swingles "In France...." is my second favorite song on the cd. The
harmonies are reminiscent of when my dear old Dad would play his "Fleetwoods"
record on the hi-fi.
> 15. Nashville Mandolin Ensemble - Goodbye Porkpie Hat: I LOVE this
> recording, reminds me a lot of David Grisman & his Dawggrass style of
> music. Very pretty acoustic version of the Mingus melody.

> This is my FAVORITE of all the songs on the CD (including Lydia's and
Diana's who I adore) I love to listen to the mandolin, and to hear "Goodbye
Porkpie Hat" done like this is just awesome. I hope Steve Mixon and Marcel
perform a duet of this number.
Thanks again Bob, and the rest of the gang!
