Well, when I was working earlier this week one day, I happened to
be playing Miles of Aisles. This one very happy lady came into the cafe and
said to my boss, "Lori I'm so glad to see you before I go and I am also so
glad that you are listening to Joni Mitchell!" I couldn't resist, so I
piped in, "You are a big Joni Fan?" and the lady answered yes. Then another
lady who was buying a coffee chimed in, "OH, I love Joni Mitchell too, I was
listening to Hejira all the way down to the beach." The first lady then
told me how Hejira was such a great album and how she appreciated Joni's
work so much. I proceeded to give her my email address and the told her
about the Discussion List. Her name is Bethany and am not sure if she'll be
joining soon or not, but it was surely nice to meet too extremely nice fans
at one moment.
