I was playing at a Borders in Marietta last night and talking to one of the
employees after the show. First she said that she loved "Rainbow
Connection" (which I did in Kermit the Frog voice) and then she said she had
been talking to a customer at the information desk while I was playing "Free
Man in Paris" when the customer looked at her and turned around and said "Is
that Joni Mitchell?" So I guess I'm doing okay if I'm getting mistaken for
her.
It's weird playing at a bookstore...you never really know who's listening
because most people are walking around, looking at books.
