hey-

more harold & maude tidbits... I just bought mona bone jakon, btw, so now i
can listen to "I think I see the light" - yay!

bud cort was recently in "But I'm a Cheerleader" with natasha lyon (sp?).
It was a pretty cute, campy movie.

he also was interviewed by the New York Times sunday magazine a few months
ago - one of those short one-pagers near the front of the mag. It was weird
- he seemed pretty grouchy. He was asked about Harld and Maude and he was
all touchy about it - said something about how it was edited in such a way
that it sucked the life out of it, made some parts hard to understand, or
something. I particularly remember him saying that they cut a seminal part
that explained why Harold decided to go to bed with Maude. Of course, he
*said* that but then didn't tell us *why*. So I wonder what it was.

did the musical use the cat stevens songs? or other songs?
