I've read/heard discussions of this and the consensus seems to be that there
are subtle differences in the 70s knock-offs being made now that make the
fashions more attractive - nicer fabrics, better cuts, finer (not as gaudy)
colors and keener stylistic eyes involved overall. I agree, and think they
are also incorporating some of the better aspects of the 60s fashions with
them. Although I have seen some pretty clunky stuff out there these days,
too!

Hmmm, could be "counter-propaganda." While I personally am not fond of
drugs, I remember thinking back in the 70's when things reached the
saturation point that it would be great if they could legalize and TAX them
to help offset the miserable economy (22% inflation rate, deficit, high
unemployment, etc.) we had then!
