One of my favorite writers is Eudora Welty.  She won a Pulitzer for a great
book _The Optimist's Daughter_ and wrote great short stories, too.  My
favorite being "A Well-Worn Path."  She's one of the foremost American
"southern woman writers."  She is also known for her depression-era
photography.  Sadly, she died today.  Her legacy will live on.
