We recently had visitors from tennesse. they described themselves as liberals.
John and I both thought 'if these people are liberals what the hell would the
right wingers be like?'!!!!! They were nice people, polite and esy to talk
with, especially loved their accents but on a deeper level found them rather
scary. They found it necessary to talk about us as a couple and said how
different we were from other gay people-who of course have sex with 20
different people a day. And believe it or not, I kep quiet. They were only here
a couple of days so it wasn't worth the aggro and besides which, it wouldn't
have achieved anything. Oh and he also told me of his shotguns and how in his
neighbourhood they used them if people got too rowdy.
Then they graciously invited me over to Tennesee for a stay with them. I can't
wait......
