Well this I will respond to and say I think it's a shame you feel this
way.  As a general rule, I don't participate in political discussions,
don't see the point of it, never did.  But if anyone else wants to
discuss political topics (from any country) they should feel perfectly
free to do so as long as it's done in a respectful, non-nasty way.

And I'm truly sorry, Debra, that you felt the way you did when no-one
responded to the nastiness that happened recently on the list.
