Some kids can deal with this better than others - I
think it's a matter of really *knowing* you kids.
You're quite right - I would NEVER let kids see a
movie about serial killers and so on. They hear about
stuff like that on the news and that's scary enough
for them. But I know my own kids are pretty sensitive
about a lot of this stuff, esp. my son, so I have to
be careful what he sees and hears and to be sure to be
there with him if he insists on watching something
scary but IMO kind of borderline. He loved JP3 too
(Note to Vince, I loved your post - it cracked me
right up!) And my son knew all the dinosaur names at
a very early age too.
When I was a kid, once I found out that burglars were
real, it scared the crap out of me because I figured,
if burglars were real, then so must monsters and so on
be real.
