My niece and nephew never have gifts left in their bedrooms at Xmas, because
they are scared of the idea of Santa Claus coming into their rooms at night.
They've been warned so often about not talking to strangers, keeping the
doors locked, etc., that it scares them to think of a strange man coming
into the house in the middle of the night. It's understandable, I guess,
but it still makes me think that it's kind of a sad state we've got
ourselves into, isn't it?!
