Really, really, REEEEEALLLY enjoying all the posts
about "Passion Play". One of my favourites as well,
even though I've never tried to analyze it much (I
guess I'm too shallow). The lyrics and the music -
and the way Joni sings it - are overall excellent. I
always figured it meant something - a lot of things -
but never tried to work it out (maybe I'm not
religious enough either). Again, Joni says things
that can be interpreted on so many levels and odds
are, she meant every one of them (or maybe not - never
mind what it means to me, what does it mean to you?)
