Hi every one,
It's been a while, but I've been following a lot of your comments though.
I just couldn't resist joining in on this one.
CSSJ was a very memorable place for me, It's funny I cannot remember a lot of
names, maybe cos my stay was pretty brief; 3rd - 5th year, but I sure remember
deeds and some faces too.
The 1st comdnt I met I think was Ayoola, he made me a prefect, but I never
really liked him much, he used to make me take to my heals when ever he was in
sight, whether or not I was doing somthing right. When I reflect now though, I
think I needed an Ayoola at the point in my life.
My favourite one I think was the Economics teacher, a mrs ?, I think she was
from the delta regions. I think she liked my reading, cos she'd always make me
stand up in the front of the class to dictate her notes to the rest of the
class, I owe my A1 in Econs to her + I think my excellent facilitation and
presentation skills today.
Geography was another good subject for me, I remember the teacher so well, but
cannot remember his name, he was tall and would always pick his nose in class,
so we gave him a name for that. He made the classes very interesting and I owe
my A1 in that subject to him too.
My physics teacher was a smallish man; was he the Bongo? I thought I was doing
so well in that sunject, the P I got was a major shock to me, but I still think
he was a great teacher.
Another favourite teacher and subject was math, mrs. Ono I think she was called
or was that her sons name? She was very motherly and encauraged me to achieve
an A2 in mathes, I got an F in further mathes though; don't ask me how, your
guest as as good as mine.
Mrs Falana was a good english teacher, another A subject for me, but I remember
I use to feel she was a little full of herself for some reason. She was an
excellent teacher and knew her onions.
I could go on and on, but I think enough show offs now with my As, CSSJ was a
special place and it holds a lot of memories for me. I long to see and water my
tree again; class of 88, do the trees we planted still stand?
Happy new year commandos!!

ME,
Mmaette Ojo. (Efiong)

This is a nice one.
My favourite who i still think about till about 10 mins ago are (not in order
of preference please.)

1. Mrs Falade (School Guardian): There were many of us anyway but she still
remembers me. So thats just fine. AN she made my provision last.
2. Lt. Amusan (Maths Teacher JS1): Probably because i was doing well in math. I
did not know he was there as far back as 83. He was a clear and concise math
teacher. I can remember his face an actions right now.
3. Mrs. Oyetunde (Biology): She was my form teacher ins SS1 and also the
Biology teacher. Very simple and motherly. Got into trouble a couple of times
with her but will always be a memorable person.
4. Mr Oguine Azubike (Further Maths): Focused to the letter. He has a lighter
side as i discovered after school.
5. Mr. Johnson (Maths as well): He was there briefly. I think he was serving
but he was great to have around.

I seem to have had a thing for the Math teachers. Well i did love math back
then. Take note of the past tense. In the real worl, you better like some other
things or you are broke.

So who is next? Nice idea John. I am sure this is mor constructive than the
voodoo episode. I am sure he was misquoted tho.

Nice Day all,

Taiwo (92 Set)
