Gavin indeed has done some great work in fixing the earlier corruption
issues with IE. It happened that that was tangential to the issues that came
up more recently. I just want to clarify that there's still a complete
refactor underway. Gavin has already started on that, but today's fix
represents only a piece of that whole.
