Hello,

I have the same problem with the ports. Here is what I am using:

Web server: Netscape Eeterprise Server 3.6

For Jrun Default Server :
        Web Server Port = 8100
        Listening Port = 51000

For another utility server:
        Web Server Port = 8102
        Listening Port = 51002

I tried changing the port numbers lot of times but no luck..
Any clue...

-Thanks,

Subject: Re: Port Conflict

Hi

around One month back we were in the same situation

we are Running IPLanet 4.1 on Solaris 2.6 and JRUN3.0

Same Port conflicts were appearing coz of another server which has been
configured for the QA has been using the Same Control port

Then We came up with a Table of Ports and Published to every one not to use
those portsany where in the Program

After which we had less no of JRUN crashes

Also there is a chunk of Java Code in the advanced setup guide which Scans
for the Free ports and gives it to you to configure your JRUN on it

Consider running that which might Help.

Any way tired with the Problems with JRUN our management is Plaaning On to
move to Weblogic

Thanks
