We are using jsch with java 1.5 and have not experienced any issues. However, we only use the Exec with password/public key authentication.

The JSCH web site mentions "known to work" with jdk's up to 1.4.

Can someone give me the story on > 1.4? I need to develop an automated SFTP solution on a platform that's using JDK 1.5 and soon 1.6. This is a really simple use - only needs to send and retrieve files once a day, nothing complicated.

Any reason why I should look elsewhere that I should know before jumping in here?

Thanks in advance.
