Guys, try to keep in mind that what is important is
1) that the name does not conflict with something existing
2) that it's short and does not have bad meaning in main languages, and
is related more or less with the project
3) and last, not least, it's a pleasant name.
So far, almost all the proposed names, including Aplsec, fail to pass
step (1). No need to keep them in the list forever, let's just move on
to the next possible name...
liuofee is a good (random) possible name wrt to (1) but absolutely sucks
when it comes to (2) and (3). But as the l,i,o,u are on the right part
on my keyboard, and f, e on the left part, I can't expect myself playing
some Dvorak on my computer will generate anything different...
Nobu sounds ok, and I think it's ok wrt to (1).
Satrap is ok wrt to (1), but sucks on (3)
Shadow : (1) ok, (2), well, not so much
Asa4j or Apache Security API : (1) ok, (2), no

Apache Stonewall
Apache Stronghold
Apache Redoubt
Apache Garrison
Apache Shield
A quick search on google for Josai : seems to be ok, plus (2) and (3)
sounds good too.
IMO, Josai seems to be one of the best candidate, putting aside any
personal taste for the name : no Josai project (yet), no big company
using it (to be double checked), sounds good, short, related to the
project (ok,you have to speak japanese)...
PS : Aplsec <==> APIsec. Try a google for APIsec.
