My name is Nicholas Zakas and I'm a JS mentor. I currently work at Yahoo!
where I'm a principal software engineer. I'm the front end tech lead for the
Yahoo! homepage and a contributor to YUI. I've been at Yahoo! for four and a
half years and love working on scalable systems. I do a lot of writing about
JavaScript (http://nczonline.net/writing) and speaking
(http://nczonline.net/speaking), and I'm very passionate about teaching best
practices. I try to make sure anything that I learn is somehow published so
that everyone can benefit.
I like long walks on the beach, candelit dinners, and Rey Bango. I dislike
Peyton Manning.
I'm very excited to be involved with this mailing list and look forward to
