Hey. that's a bit overpriced for a 1x1 plug and play USB interface. go with the edirol, I believe it's thirty five bucks. Or, try to find a second hand midi sport 1x1 on e bay.
As far as buffer sizes, you'd adjust those as needed once you have your external audio interface working.
