Asking publically for the email encourages others to donate, and also gives the solution to a problem with the site.

That's a technical issue.

But it's well known you've never missed a chance on these email lists to cause trouble with me.

That's probably the whole problem right there.

People with a humanistic world view  never think of anyone but themselves.

they don't look at the big picture.
