By the way, to address the originator again, when we rolled out our
application, our beans were JARred into .jar files and we used the ADMIN
tool to add the location and filename for each JAR of the application.
Under configure on the Admin tool, you should see where to adjust the
classpath settings for the application.

Also, I used IE5 on Win2K and had no problems with the Admin tool.  The web
server was a Linux box, though.

This is due to iPlanet 4.1 using Tomcat 3.0 - which in turn does NOT
recompile JSPs automatically. Clearing the cache and restarting is the only
way to convince tomcat 3.0 to start a recompilation.

Tomcat 3.1 does not suffer from this bug (or missing feature as you might
call it ;-). Only question is when tomcat 3.1 will get incorporated into
iPlanet 4.x.
