Hi!

    am having a bean which does all the database related
stuff(getconnection, addrecord etc)
a method in this bean!
public addRecord()
{
        try
        {
                some sql stmts...
        }
        catch(SQLExcpetion e)
        {
                how to pass a error statement back to the calling jsp page
        }
}

Now in the jsp page I create this bean and call a method addRecord()
suppose this method throws sqlexception it is caught in the catch block...
but I want to display the error message back in the jsp page and stop
executing the jsp page.
Please be in detail!
thanks
