Hmm... it's interesting that you are not the only one (by a longshot)
reporting this exact problem.
But in order for us to help, you're going to have to supply more
information: what version and vendor of the JDK are you using, what distro
of Linux are you using, and what version of glibc, and what the exact
error messages in the logs upon freezing or crashing you're getting would
all help us help you.
