This should help :
a) Throw an SQLException from the catch clause of your addRow method, don't
forget to add the throws clause to the addRow Method like this
public void addRecord() throws SQLException {
file://method code goes in here
try{
file://your try block code goes in here
}catch(SQLException se) {
throw new SQLException();
}
}
b) Declare a errorPage attribute in the jsp from where you are calling the
above method like
<%@ page errorPage = "YourErrorPage.jsp" %>
c) Create another YourErrorPage.jsp where you will have access to the
exception implicit object.
Don't forget to add the following page directive to YourErrorPage.jsp
<%@ page isErrorPage = "true" %>
