Janne, Since you suggested using OSCache for what I'm now calling a TransferCache, I've been looking into it and coding frenzy has set in. Certainly more complicated than using a Hashtable, but interesting, and likely a good tool to learn to use. If I remember correctly, you'd suggested I use OSCache for something else awhile ago, can't remember now.
Is there a reason why prior to 2.6.x we wouldn't want to upgrade from 2.3.1 to the most recent version (three versions forward, at 2.4.1)? Have there been significant API changes? From a cursory look over the ChangeLogs (why can't they simply be in a text file?), I didn't see any major changes.
