Yes, we are using official 2.3.1, directly downloaded off the oscache site. I have no idea what has happened. Maybe oscache has changed their jar?

Janne,

In using the oscache.jar file provided with JSPWiki vs. the
oscache-2.3.1.jar provided from the OpenSymphony site, apart
from a difference in file sizes there is another discrepancy:
it seems that the JSPWiki version of the jar doesn't support
the getSize() method on the com.opensymphony.oscache.base.Cache
class, which would indicate that it not actually version 2.3.1.
I've substituted the jar from OpenSymphony and things work fine
-- perhaps (if we are truly using 2.3.1) we could use the
'official' 2.3.1 download?
