Any specific reason for tying it to Java? It seems to
me that the idea of keeping skills current / learning
new frameworks / processes / etc. is applicable to
all developers, and that this area could use something
just like this, but in a language & platform agnostic
regard.
After all, there's tons of stuff you can learn about
design patterns, architecture, development process,
configuration management, etc. that has nothing to do
with the language or platform you're using.
Anyway, just my $00.02 worth... this sounds like something
that has a lot of potential to be very useful, eitherway.
