That sounds nifty. Could you give some examples of some things you did
without messaging and how they improved using messaging?

No concrete examples at the moment.. just some vague ideas. It all started when I took Wake Tech's JMS class last semester, and after seeing some of what you can do with messaging, I have started looking
at ways to incorporate it here. Haven't actually deployed anything
yet...

You know we're rewriting JBossMQ? Especially to add clustered topics and
all of that jazz.

Nope, didn't know that, but that's cool to hear. We used JBoss for our class, and so I've become pretty familiar with it, and would probably
be inclined to use it at work if I did anything messaging related.

BTW Andy, is there a roadmap anywhere that lays out when various
JBoss milestones are expected? Like 4.0.0DR3? Or a final release
version of 4.0?

I've been using a nightly build from a couple of months ago, for school
projects and experimenting, and I'm pretty impressed with the 4.0.0
stuff so far...

Thank God we have the 2nd Amendment to tell our elected representatives that enough is enough.
It's time to put "... from my cold, dead hands" back where it belongs.
