That sounds like a class I might have wanted to attend. But I never suspected Wake Tech got that far above the basics of Java. I wish I knew of a bulletin board where such classes were announced in advance.
Wake Tech actually has a pretty good Java based curriculum.
CSC-148 - Basic Java (just what the course title says... basic J2SE )
CSC-248 - Advanced Java ( more on J2SE - threading / networking / rmi + introduction to servlets )
CSC-258 - Java Enterprise Programming ( a whole semester of servlets, jsp's, custom tags, filters, and enterprise beans )
CSC-278 - Java Message Service (an entire semester dedicated to messaging with the JMS API)
They have also been known to offer an SCJP prep class, but the future of that class seems to be somewhat up in the air at the moment as I understand, due to the state budge crisis and all that crap.
If you ever take anything there, look for a section being taught by Jeff Greimann. He knows his stuff. He's a little overbearing at times, but by and large, he's one of the best programming instructors I've met.
TTYL,
Phil

And when the 4th Amendment no longer protects your privacy or your stuff.
Thank God we have the 2nd Amendment to tell our elected representatives that enough is enough.
It's time to put "... from my cold, dead hands" back where it belongs.
